Job Summary The Packaging Associate is responsible for preparing, labeling, and shipping ink products according to production and shipping specifications. This role involves handling materials, assembling shipments, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring accurate documentation and labeling. The position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to safely lift and move materials. Job Responsibilities Package finished ink batches according to production guidelines Retrieve drums, pails, and other containers from storage areas for use in packaging Repack materials as needed to meet product or shipment requirements Mark and label containers in accordance with batch slips or shipping orders Replenish base inks and additives from supply stocks as needed Assemble, pack, and prepare ink products for shipment per factory orders Obtain shipping documentation such as bills of lading and ensure accuracy before dispatch Coordinate with carriers and truck lines to arrange timely pick-ups Pick up orders and required items from office or stock areas Job Requirements Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and documentation Basic understanding of shipping and warehouse procedures Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and strong communication skills Additional Job Details This position may require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods Compliance with all safety and handling procedures is required
