As a Security Officer Unarmed Defense Patrol in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a critical role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will use your strong communication skills to respond to inquiries and support daily operations, while also leveraging technology such as computers or tablets as preferred. Pay Rate: $27.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or security-related incidents as required by site procedures.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors by providing information and directions as needed.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment.
• Follow all company protocols and site-specific instructions while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
