About the Role- Loan Processor First Neighbor Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Loan Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and finalizing loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with loan officers and credit administrators to provide exceptional service and smooth loan closings. This position will require initial training held in Greenup, IL. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process loan documentation for new, renewed, extended, and modified commercial loans. Communicate effectively with Loan Officers and Credit Administrators throughout the loan process. Gather and verify all documentation required for loan approval and closing. Input loan details into the core system and maintain organized, accurate credit files. Scan, catalog, and verify loan documents for completeness and future retrieval. Provide instructions to staff for loan funding. Assist customers, insurance companies, and vendors regarding outstanding documentation. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1 year of related banking, finance, or loan processing experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Strong math, organizational, and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfort with banking software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal, state, and bank regulations. Customer-focused attitude with strong service and problem-solving skills. Why Join First Neighbor Bank?
