Director of Sales | Consulting Services

Your journey as a Director of Sales, Consulting Services starts here. As a strategic partner to the senior management team, you will contribute thought leadership and innovation to our consulting practice.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee planning and execution of consulting engagements, including resource planning, cross-company visibility, new services development, and client relationship management.

  • Develop vision, strategy, and execution for Epicor's professional services business.

  • Communicate internal expectations on key business metrics such as utilization, revenue generation, responsiveness, client satisfaction (Net Promoter Score), and employee education.

  • Act as a high-level client escalation contact for professional services and implementation issues.

  • Direct and mentor teams to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.

  • Coach teams on staffing and project delivery methods to accelerate backlog consumption and increase revenue, while maintaining customer satisfaction and success.

  • Provide executive focus and responsibility for all customer projects and services sales pursuits.

What you will likely bring:

  • 11+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.

  • 6+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types.

  • 5+ years of product support or consulting experience preferred.

  • Ongoing technical certifications to stay current with industry trends.

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.

  • Ability to present in sales meetings, both face-to-face and remotely.

  • Effective communication with customers, field consultants, executives, and co-workers.

  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.

  • Ability to analyze customer problems and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Willingness to work at client sites as needed.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%-30%.

  • Experience performing work plans, identifying resource requirements, establishing priorities for available resources, and monitoring the performance of project tasks.

  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.

  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and/or manufacturing accounting concepts.

  • Expertise in ERP software.

  • Ability to travel as required for the role

Range:

Minimum: $100,000 USD Maximum: $280,000 USD
