SALARY RANGE: Estimated $120,000 - $135,000 annually *

*depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications

JOB STATUS: Full-Time; Salaried

SECURITY CLEARANCE: MUST have an active Secret security clearance

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Network Services Specialist supporting the C3I & Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNI), which is part of EPASS Cyber and Networks Directorate (EPASS HN II) contract, and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• Bachelors Degree in a related field

• Years of Experience: Ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.

• Experienced engineer that has worked on the network side and systems engineering side.
• Plus has knowledge of DoD AF policies--- TRDs, I-plans, TCTOs, 1067s, and has some rudimentary knowledge of CyberSecurity
• Ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their area of expertise

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and recommend network requirements

• Recommend and maintain network architecture and infrastructure

• Analyze network workload

• Monitor network capacity and performance

• Diagnose and resolve network problems

• Recommend network backup and recovery procedures

• Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating systems software

• Ensure the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services
