Summary

The Engineering Services Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic planning, operational execution, and cross-functional coordination across the organization. This individual serves as a strategic and tactical facilitator for the Vice President of Engineering, ensuring the seamless execution of initiatives, effective communication across teams, and the efficient use of resources. With a proven ability to manage complex budgets, streamline processes, and foster cross-functional alignment, the Engineering Services Manager helps drive organizational standardization.

Responsibilities

Executive Support & Standard Work

  • Partner with the Vice President of Engineering and leadership team to align functional priorities with organizational goals.
  • Lead and oversee annual strategic planning, goal-setting, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and strategic briefings for senior leadership and board stakeholders.
  • Ensure quotes obtained are accurate & include all required information to create PO's.
  • Start, review, edit & submit Master Agreements & SOW's (Statement of Work) to Chobani's Legal team to review, then circulate for signatures via Adobe Sign.
  • Create PR's (purchase requests) which are then converted to PO's (purchase orders) and then email them to vendors.
  • Manage/update purchase orders as PO increases arise.
  • Monitor & update all project end dates to ensure prompt closures while then executing proper closeouts.
  • Create, update, organize, & analyze data reports for the PM team on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis including: unvouchered report, weekly activity report, and executive summary report.

Operational Leadership

  • Optimize operational workflows by evaluating and refining core processes across engineering initiatives, including capital project execution and compliance.
  • Manage high-impact leadership meetings, including agenda development, KPI tracking, action item follow-through, and progress reporting.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for the SAP financial forecasting system, standardizing training processes across the team.

Operational Planning & Team Effectiveness

  • Organize and facilitate functional meetings and strategic sessions, ensuring agendas are aligned, discussions are productive, and outcomes are actioned.
  • Ensure effective coordination and communication between the engineering function and other departments such as Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
  • Improve organizational visibility and alignment through clear internal communication and documentation of initiatives, workflows, and performance metrics.

Financial Oversight & Resource Planning

  • Provide oversight of departmental operating budgets, ensuring fiscal accountability and improved forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Human Resources to manage headcount planning, resource allocation, and capital approval workflows.
  • Facilitate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, contractors, and vendors to support workforce continuity.
  • Maintain compliance and readiness through effective documentation, reporting, and budget tracking practices.

Organizational Development & Culture

  • Drive culture-building initiatives to improve engagement, collaboration, and communication within the engineering teams.
  • Lead or support internal communication efforts, including executive updates, team briefings, and strategic messaging across the organization.
  • Champion change management initiatives and programs that support continuous improvement and team development.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or strategic business support roles, ideally supporting technical or engineering functions.
  • Demonstrated success managing operating budgets, streamlining enterprise-wide systems, and enabling high-level operational execution.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with experience preparing executive-level deliverables.
  • Proficiency in enterprise tools such as SAP, project management platforms, and learning/training systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience supporting senior leadership in a matrixed organization.
  • Deep understanding of engineering project workflows and capital project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Compensation Range: $94,000.00-$141,000.00, plus bonus.
