Summary

The Inventory Specialist for Production & Warehouse plays a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring accurate inventory management, smooth material flow, and clear communication across departments. This position helps maintain production efficiency and operational accuracy through proactive tracking, reporting, and collaboration. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for all aspects related to cycle counts and inventory communications.

Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Accurately cycle counts all products within our La Colombe facilities (Green coffee, Raw Materials, and Finished Goods)
  • Assist in managing/investigating/reconciling inventory discrepancies in the SAP ERP and EWM systems.
  • Track Inventory for any materials and supplies needed in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with the Receiver, Buyer, and leadership to order any necessary supplies in a timely manner, preventing shortages or delays.
  • Capture and report inventory adjustments needed to reflect accurate inventory levels.
  • Complete monthly waste reports.
  • Count raw materials needed in production on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with and occasionally cover for the Receiving Clerk when needed.
  • Own inventory counts and purchases for items not purchased by the buyer (Indirect Materials)
  • Participate in periodic inventory counts taking place on Saturdays (monthly).
  • Send inventory-related communications to all appropriate parties and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with Mass Balancing incoming green and roasted coffee.
Requirements

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • SAP ERP and EWM Experience preferred
  • 2-3 years of warehouse/ Inventory experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP, food plant operations, and safety.
  • Ability to operate a manual and automatic pallet jack.
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over, etc.
  • Be physically active for 8 hours without becoming fatigued or out of breath.
  • Stand for 8 hours a day.
  • Occasionally lift and or move 40+ pounds

Compensation Range: $22.25-$28.75, plus bonus.
