The Inside Account Executive (iAE), CAI is responsible for creating, managing and driving opportunities in collaboration with Cisco partners for a designated portfolio of Mid-Market Private accounts. Working as part of a highly unified sales Pod team alongside Inside Account Executives (iAE) and Solutions Engineers (SE), this role emphasizes Cisco's Cloud & AI (CAI) portfolio while also identifying and communicating cross-architecture opportunities within the sales Pod.

Responsibilities include:
* Forging powerful direct relationships with customers, collaborating closely with hand-picked channel partners to unlock new sales opportunities and drive renewals across the assigned territory. * Mastering every facet of the sales journey, leveraging cutting-edge technologies for seamless remote collaboration and pioneering new sales models-from cloud solutions to services and software-all designed to empower customers and boost their revenue. * Driving success by achieving ambitious quota targets for a designated Mid-Market Private Sector account list, making a tangible impact on growth. * Cultivating comprehensive expertise in Cisco's CAI portfolio, mastering competitive positioning and honing unparalleled sales acumen. * Taking full ownership of CAI opportunities, guiding them seamlessly through every stage of the sales cycle. * Providing critical CAI-specific elements in quarterly territory planning, collaborating seamlessly with the Pod. * Collaborating strategically with partners to attract and close pivotal deals, ensuring robust customer adoption. * Contributing to maintaining pipeline excellence across all architectures within the Pod. * Owning responsibility for accurate forecasting for the CAI roll-up, collaborating with the Pod on precise consolidated forecasts. * Delivering the "One Cisco Story" by leveraging a deep understanding of Cisco's entire product portfolio to articulate a unified vision. * Continuously monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive insights, shaping strategy and execution with informed precision. * Innovating daily by harnessing Cisco's advanced Tech Stack, Agentic AI, and powerful Sales Plays to scale and optimize every customer engagement. * Adopting a hybrid work model, with occasional travel for crucial customer and partner engagements, blending flexibility with vital in-person connections.
Minimum Qualifications The ideal candidate will thrive in a changing sales environment, be goal motivated and believe in performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strong collaboration with partners and internal collaborators.
* 3+ years' B2B selling experience in a similar or adjacent industry. * Experience owning the full sales cycle (prospecting, customer demos, negotiating and closing the sale). * Demonstrated strong sales achievement (consistent achievement at or above quota, or a history of YoY growth in the target market). * Strong partnering and teamwork skills Ability to balance partner engagement with direct customer interaction for the assigned account list.

* Passion for sales and building positive relationships. * Strong business sense and ability to effectively communicate the value proposition to the customer base. * Ability to engage in active listening to identify customer challenges - both current and future - and propose solutions to improve their process. * Strong relationship management skills to build trust and drive results with partners and customers. * Data-driven decision-making skills for pipeline analysis and accurate sales forecasting. * Experience using digital selling tools such as Salesforce.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $123,000.00 to $155,000.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For locations not listed below, the recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process. U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco's policies:

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $133,000.00 - $192,700.00
Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $127,000.00 - $184,100.00
