Short Description

  • This position provides opportunities for growth and development as an independent investigator in NIH and other grant-funded research and enhances professional skills in academia.
  • Accountable to the Primary Investigator and Director of Grants and Research, this role conducts specific research projects related to Addiction Medicine Services in inpatient, outpatient, and community-service environments.
  • The Research Scientist will provide intellectual and technical support to research programs and initiatives, including utilization of implementation of science approaches and best practice.

Experience Required

0-2 years' experience required.

3-5 years' experience preferred.


Education Requirements

Doctorate Degree required.


Special Requirements

  • Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in biological or related sciences required within 6 months of hire. Experience in immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology is highly preferred.
  • Track record of scholarly publication and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Communication - Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.
Hourly Rate Min $36
Hourly Rate Max $59
