As a Security Professional - Chemical Site - Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols of assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be highly visible throughout your shift, providing assistance to employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to authorized areas within the chemical and/or petrochemical location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal policies and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid TSA issued TWIC card.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
