About the Role
Werner Electric Supply is seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead our customer service team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure service excellence, and drive team performance with a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), providing coaching, feedback, and professional development.
  • Monitor daily order management processes and performance metrics to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Assist CSRs with escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and complex issues.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support customer needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and improve margins.
  • Lead regular stand-up meetings with the Customer Service Team.
  • Coordinate vacation coverage and cross-training for key accounts and work functions.
  • Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) to drive efficiency and service enhancements.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Interview, hire, and train employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work.
  • Appraise performance and manage performance issues.
  • Resolve problems in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.


Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Customer Experience.
  • 2-5 years of leadership experience in Customer Experience or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous front-line leadership experience.
  • Experience with ERP and Knowledge Management platforms.
  • Previous experience in the distribution industry.


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Office-based role; may require sitting for up to eight hours.
  • Occasional movement to access people or workspaces.
  • Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • May occasionally move up to 15 pounds.
  • May be requested to work overtime and/or weekends.
