HR Dispatcher - Human Resources
Location: Long Island City, NY (Onsite)
Salary: $55,000 annually
Schedule: 6am-3pm or 9am-6pm (must be flexible to cover either shift as needed)
Reports to: Director of HR
Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Company:
Our client is a long-established facilities management and building services provider, supporting large-scale commercial clients across the New York Tri-State area. With a workforce of thousands, they are known for reliability, transparency, and operational excellence.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) HR Dispatcher to join the HR department. This is a fast-paced, high-volume coordination role where you'll manage employee call-ins, schedule coverage, and provide support across HR and payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls professionally and efficiently.

  • Manage employee call-outs/absences, assigning replacements as needed.

  • Communicate staffing changes with field operations teams.

  • Track timekeeping discrepancies and assist with payroll support.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including uniforms, IDs, and equipment.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and run reports for compliance.

  • Provide general HR administrative support.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; HR/staffing experience preferred.

  • Fluency in Spanish required.

  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

  • 2+ years administrative or HR coordination experience (union environment a plus).

  • Excellent communication skills; thrives in a high-call, fast-paced environment.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
