Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-10:30PM, every other weekend, rotating holidays

Additional components of compensation may include:

Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED or presently attending high school. Required
Work Experience
  • Retail pharmacy or hospital experience is preferred, in particular in the following areas: unit dose distribution, compounding non-sterile medications, IV admixture including USP<797> and <800>, and automated dispensing machine technology. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current licensure from the State of Illinois. Candidates without a license may work in this role for 60 days from date of license application through Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. Those enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification requirements, but will need to obtain a "Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation" license from IDFPR. Required
  • Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification within two (2) years of date license was first issued. Required
