Description The Marine Corps Enterprise Network (SMIT-MCEN) Contract is an eight-year, $7.7 billion program responsible for maintaining and modernizing the primary global network of the Navy and Marine Corps. To support this critical effort, Leidos is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to join our team in Quantico, VA. SMIT-MCEN is the largest IT services program for the Navy and Marine Corps. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of the contract, the Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will help unify shore-based networks and data management across the Navy and Marine Corps, improving capability, enhancing service, and achieving significant cost savings by consolidating efforts under one enterprise network. The Data Center Facilities Technician will provide facilities, logistical, and technical support for IT production environments. This role involves managing facilities, infrastructure, systems, and applications requirements while ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and operational policies. The position requires strong collaboration with government facility management personnel and technical expertise in facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities
