This position will support our shipping and receiving department. Hours will be Monday-Friday working approximately 3-4 hours per day. Hours will vary but will be somewhere around 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Typical duties & responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Print daily schedules used to plan shipments Complete unloading and receipt of incoming deliveries Establish which orders are to be shipped each day Arrange trucking by phone, email and/or websites Perform electronic data input: pick tickets, packing skips, BOL's, receiving, locating Load and unload truck via forklift and/or pallet jack Assist in other duties to complete the receiving/shipment of orders Participate in monthly and year-end inventory counts Other duties as assigned To be qualified, you should meet the following key attributes: Have a current, valid drivers' license with a good driving record Must be forklift certified or willing to be trained to become certified Willingness to learn all shipping/receiving functions and participate in cross training Must have strong computer skills Strong communication skills both oral and written Basic math skills required Must be motivated and be a self-starter Good organization skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on inventory accuracy Ability to meet established deadlines Physical Abilities Able to be on your feet for long periods of time Ability to kneel, crouch, squat and reach Ability to lift 50 pounds or more Able to get on and off forklift truck and climb stairs and ladders
