Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architectural and engineering firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth. As a result, a limited term position is available for a Food & Beverage Project Manager in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities include:

  • Successfully managing multi-disciplinary design teams comprised of engineering and construction staff
  • Developing project scopes, fees and schedules
  • Coordinating project requirements to assure completion
  • Preparing or directing the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, permits and design of projects
  • Providing QA/QC
  • Attending client meetings
  • Travel will be required

The successful candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in field relevant to department plus ten years of relevant experience of which at least two must be at the project manager level

OR

  • No degree with at least 14 years' relevant experience of which at least two must be at the project manager level

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • Managing scope, schedule and budget for food and beverage projects
  • Leading and managing multiple engineering and construction projects
  • Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors and subconsultants for greenfield and brownfield projects
  • Guiding the facility, utility, process, packaging and controls discipline leads on project design
  • Managing site construction
