Position Overview:

ABC Companies is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Enterprise Process and Systems Engineer to lead enterprise process optimization and system enhancements across ERP, CRM, and workflow platforms (JD Edwards, Oracle CX, Azure Cloud, PowerApps, Vertex, BI tools, AI Powered Systems). This role is responsible for conducting end-to-end business process assessments, translating operational needs into functional requirements, and driving scalable solutions that align with financial, operational, and strategic objectives.


The Sr. Enterprise Process and Systems Engineer serves as a subject matter expert and trusted liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring process traceability, system reliability, and operational excellence. This position partners with project managers to support enterprise transformation initiatives, mentors junior analysts, and leads documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in change management, workflow design, and cross-functional collaboration, with a proven ability to deliver sustainable process improvements and digital tool adoption across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end business process assessments, including current-state analysis, root cause evaluation, and design of optimized future-state workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to support enterprise transformation projects by aligning process deliverables, documentation milestones, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with the Junior Analyst to provide mentorship, review day-to-day documentation outputs, and jointly manage issue escalation, testing coordination, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead end-to-end business process assessments, including current-state analysis, root cause evaluation, and design of optimized future-state workflows.
  • Facilitate and document workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather operational pain points, system limitations, and cross-departmental improvement opportunities.
  • Translate conceptual business needs into structured, functional requirements and system enhancement documentation for IT and business leaders.
  • Identify and recommend automation opportunities, system alignment gaps, and inefficiencies across ERP, CRM, and workflow platforms (e.g., JD Edwards, Oracle CX, PowerApps, Azure Cloud).
  • Support testing, validation, and defect tracking efforts in collaboration with the Junior Analyst, ensuring consistent rollout and feedback incorporation.
  • Serve as the key liaison between business users and IT support leads to ensure issue tracking, process feedback, and enhancement planning align with strategic goals.
  • Coordinate documentation for enterprise-level programs, ensuring alignment with project timelines, operational readiness, and stakeholder communication needs.
  • Promote standardized digital tool usage, process traceability, and alignment of workstreams across business units.
  • Support the creation and rollout of training content, onboarding guides, and communication materials for process or system changes.
  • Track open issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to ensure structured follow-through and contribution to strategic planning.
  • Provide insight into operational feasibility and organizational impact of proposed projects, process shifts, or technology upgrades.
  • Contribute to enterprise reporting needs, audit response activities, and performance tracking through documentation or analytical support.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise systems, providing guidance and hands-on support to resolve daily operational issues and ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in day-to-day activities, offering system expertise to troubleshoot problems, streamline processes, and support operational excellence.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in enterprise process improvement, systems engineering, or business analysis within large, multi-location organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct end-to-end business process assessments, including current-state analysis, root cause identification, and future-state workflow design.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM platforms, SaaS based systems, Azure Cloud and business intelligence tools, with a proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and system enhancements.
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops, leading cross-functional working sessions, and serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT. Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Strong capability in data-driven problem-solving, issue tracking, testing coordination, and identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.
  • Exceptional ability to develop process documentation, training content, and stakeholder communications that support operational readiness and adoption.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and change management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support multi-site initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
