Job Purpose Perform coordination and support activities for own unit/discipline, in accordance with applicable internal and external rules and regulations, in order to contribute to the realization of the objectives of the unit/discipline. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides general support to the assigned department/s. Focused on helping specialists and managers accomplish related tasks and projects. Assist with nearly all programs and services that relate to assigned division. Collect data, analyze data and create reports. Answering customer questions. Greet and Service Office Visitors Qualifications Required 2-3+ years experience in a similar position At minimum High School Diploma, preferred Associate's or bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field Knowledge of the principles and practices of administration Knowledge of effective office administrative procedures writing conventions, and operating of standard office equipment Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs, which may include Microsoft Office, Internet applications etc. Preferred Knowledge of principles and practices of research and data collection Foreign language is a plus English is a must A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment. General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
