  • UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound healing center and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging.
  • A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service. These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van.
  • Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities and demonstrates exceptional patient service skills.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program
  • Currently ARRT - R and Texas Department of Health Registered
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire within 30 days

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Preferred mobile mammography experience
  • Certified in Mammography, ARRT - M registered preferred
