Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer Overview: The Equipment Manager oversees the readiness, maintenance, and accountability of all project vehicles and equipment at Fort Irwin. This role ensures that trucks, trailers, and utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) are properly maintained and available to support site operations. The Equipment Manager serves as the central point of coordination between the Site Manager, SUXOS, and maintenance staff or vendors, ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance programs, documentation standards, and safety requirements. The employee must be able to lift heavy equipment/supplies up to 50 lbs (Note: lifting more than 50 lbs requires two or more personnel). This position also requires frequent walking. Fieldwork is performed in various outdoor terrain and regularly requires the ability to navigate uneven ground or other obstacles found in natural surroundings. Work Environment: Extensive travel to field sites may be required. Fieldwork involves performing physically demanding tasks and working 4-10-hour per day), potentially in adverse field conditions (cold, hot, high wind, dusty environment, rough terrain) in remote locations.
