Dematic is looking for a diligent and reliable Material Handler to assist with our warehouse and logistics activities. This position does not require operating powered industrial equipment but is crucial for ensuring detailed packing, manifesting, and quality auditing of materials and products. The perfect candidate is well-organized, safety-conscious, and dedicated to upholding high standards of accuracy and quality. This position will involve working Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $18.50 to $22.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What You Will Do In This Role
  • Accurately pack products according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Ensure accurate labeling of packages, including barcode, shipping labels, and handling instructions.
  • Prepare and verify shipping manifests and documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Cross-check item counts, weights, and descriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conforming products.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement and storage locations.
  • Coordinate and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Sharp attention to detail coupled with effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in comprehending and analyzing packing slips, manifests, and quality criteria.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 50 lbs and standing for prolonged durations.
