POSITION OVERVIEW:
To lead regional facility maintenance operations by managing Facility Advisors and Facility Maintenance Technician (FMTs), ensuring optimal execution of in-housework, reducing vendor spending, and driving measurable improvements in asset performance, cost efficiency, and service delivery across FedEx Freight facilities. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Select, educate, develop and lead a staff of employees 2. Monitor and manage direct reports workload across the region to ensure timely completion of work orders, prioritizing in-house execution over vendor outsourcing. 3. Drive measurable reductions in vendor spend by identifying opportunities for internal execution and tracking cost avoidance metrics. 4. Collaborate with direct reports and counterparts to develop cost effective scopes of work and ensure execution aligns with strategic goals. 5. Analyze regional repair cost, technician productivity, and vendor usage trends to identify opportunities for improvement. 6. Provide performance reporting and insights to leadership, including technician utilization, vendor spending, and service levels. 7. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures 8. Perform other assignments (or duties) as required

QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years facility, project management, or related discipline * Knowledge of LTL trucking facilities, preferred * Thorough understanding of project management principles / techniques * Must be self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously * Demonstrative leadership and conflict resolution skills * Must possess problem solving and decision-making skills * Ability to interpret AutoCAD and other drawing mediums preferred * Strong interpersonal and motivational skills * Strong time management and organizational skills * Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software, including but not limited to; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook * Strong verbal and written communication skills
