Job Purpose:

Manages and provides guidance to multiple teams across functional departments. Oversees the Performance and Reporting operations, workload issues, quality control, training and maintaining effective staffing levels.

Logistics:

PGBA - one of BlueCross BlueShield's SC subsidiary companies.

Location:

This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday - Friday and will be located on-site at 8733 Highway 17 Bypass in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Government Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, which requires applicants to be a U.S. Citizen.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversees multiple teams for a line of business or department. Manages and motivates staff.
  • Oversees operational activities involving quality control and maintaining effective staffing levels. Manages performance to ensure that various department productivity, quality, timeliness standards and other contractual requirements are met. Monitors department team performance to ensure all customer requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Monitors and analyzes reports/statistics, processes, and resources to provide maximum efficiency and effectiveness for all functions. Responsible for the coordination of resolutions for operational issues. Directs and manages budget activities.
  • Ensures appropriate training for all associates to ensure that the most current guidelines are always being followed.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:

Required Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree.

Required Work Experience:

  • 5 years of health related or customer service work experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience OR 2 years of equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.

Required Software and Tools:

  • Microsoft Office.

We Prefer You to Have:

  • PGBA experience.
  • Data analytics and reporting experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
