This job will be part of the Aerospace Defense & Government Solutions team (ADGS) which is responsible for delivering software-centric solutions that accelerate our customers' time to market and reduce their costs - giving them a competitive advantage in today's and tomorrow's technology waves.

Keysight is looking for interns with energy and passion for solving customer measurement issues in the aerospace and defense industry. You will work closely with Keysight's field sales team and customers to understand measurement challenges, propose solutions using Keysight hardware & software, and demonstrate Keysight's ability to help customers be successful. You will be working with engineers across the company in a proactive and highly collaborative manner using a strong set of technical application and communication skills. An example project for the summer could be to find and measure Gold Standard antennas to create a portfolio of data for our customers who are becoming familiar with our antenna test solutions. Exact project will be determined based on current business needs as well as the interests and skill set of the selected intern.


Responsibilities

  • Work with internal team members to understand project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop project plan and schedule
  • Document project work in an online repository
  • Prepare final presentation of project for end of summer showcase.

Qualifications

Keysight is looking for a rising college junior or senior studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related field. Must Have Skills and Qualifications

Chosen candidate must demonstrate the ability to work closely in teams and understand the dynamics of a collaborative team environment. We search for candidates that have demonstrated leadership skills and can be dynamic and persuasive in a professional setting.

In addition, this position requires the following skillsets and attributes

  • Matriculated in a program for BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Qualified Candidate must have completed all coursework of their sophomore year in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the core engineering courses
  • Demonstrated technical skills through coursework, work experience, or prior internship(s)
  • Familiarity with software development environments such as C++/C#, Python, etc.
  • Experience and/or interest in RF solutions for the Aerospace Defense industry is a plus
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills. This internship culminates with a presentation of results delivered in person for all local ADGS interested personnel.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with using Keysight's general purpose instruments such as, signal analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, etc.
  • This position requires a U.S. person. Employment in this position for non-U.S. persons is contingent on ability to obtain any required government authorizations.

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2026. Applicants who have graduated before September 2026 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Colorado Pay Range: $27.83-$29.33

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
