JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

The AI (Artificial Intelligence) Engineer role focuses on effectively utilizing generative AI tools to develop and deliver solutions that support other engineers and teams within the company. This position requires a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and software engineering. An AI Engineer is responsible for creating tools and systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of various teams. Additionally, the role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize software solutions through generative AI into existing workflows and conducting data analysis to ensure high-quality input for AI models. The engineer will also stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies to continuously improve the company's offerings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS



  • Develop and implement AI tools and solutions to support other engineers and teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows.
  • Conduct data analysis and preprocessing to ensure high-quality input for AI models.
  • Evaluate and optimize AI tools for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.


Experience



  • 0-2 years of experience building and deploying AI-powered systems using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic architectures in production environments.


Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • AI Platforms: Basic experience with AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or OpenAI.
  • Development Tools: Familiarity with Git and modern IDEs.
  • Model Evaluation: Basic understanding of AI model evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Cloud Platforms: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Data Processing: Experience with data processing frameworks like Pandas.
  • Machine Learning: Understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Software Development: Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The target pay rate for this position is between $88,550 - $115,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include: geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
