Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for anAdvanced Operations Support Analyst Support Team. This position has high visibility and provides one of the broadest views of our global business. You will be responsible for a variety of projects, processes, and programs. You will be delivering both experimental and mature products using your skills in both established and emerging technologies. This role is a full time, onsite position located in East Aurora, NY. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time. As the Advanced Operations Support Analyst, you will:
Collaborate and contribute to cross functional teams by serving as a subject matter expert in technical principles and quantitative problem-solving methods relating to operations management. Create proof of concepts to solutions for current and future business improvements. Deliver project success by collecting and integrating feedback from users and stakeholders into a viable product. Develop and clarify the scope of projects to align with value to internal and external users. Identify needed resources, coordinate availability of shared resources, and develop timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities and deliverables. Ensure the continued establishment, implementation and improvement of the use of advanced analytics, operations research and simulation to improve operations and manufacturing at Moog Inc. Support the global organization to develop business processes and make use of such scientific and data-driven methods. Communicate with stakeholders having multiple competing objectives and drive change with indirect influence. Manage overall project dependencies and ensure project deliverables stay on time and within budget. Interpret results and communicate them to technical and non-technical audiences, cross-functional teams and executive leaders. Foster mature products through written and in-person training, and through maintaining data and information systems, as necessary. Continually improve solutions to adapt for shifts in business needs.
To be considered for the Operations Support Analyst role here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:
A Bachelor's Degree Minimum 1-3 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics. Advanced knowledge of databases and SQL programming. Experience with data querying tools such as SSMS and Azure Data Studio or similar. Experience with data orchestration tools such as Talend, Azure Synapse or similar. Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, D3, Matplotlib, or similar. Advanced Excel skills. Capability with statistical/analytics programming in R, Python or similar. Maintained awareness of new data science/data engineering tools, techniques and technologies.
It would also be great if you had:
Advanced technical degree and/or MBA is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Azure/Databricks. Experience with SAP S4 and SAP IBP. Minimum 1+ years of experience with an advanced degree preferred and 1-3 years of experience in Materials, Quality, Operations, Manufacturing. Approximately 10-15% travel / non-traditional hours.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $70,000.00-$90,000.00 Annually
