The Role:

As the Director of Marketing for the Providence family of brands, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and sharing accountability for all marketing aspects across assigned markets. Working alongside the AVP Marketing (Divisional CMO), you will have close relationships with all Providence strategy, operations and clinical leaders, as well as strong working relationships and understanding of functional marketing team leads. You'll be responsible for managing health metrics and achieving marketing objectives for the Providence brands. Your leadership will be integral in developing, implementing, and measuring marketing campaigns that adhere to brand guidelines and streamline the go-to-market process.

What You'll Do:



  • Strategic Architect: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational and service area goals.
  • Collaborative Leader: Partner with leadership, strategy, and business development teams to ensure marketing plans and activities are aligned with business priorities.
  • Market Analyst: Monitor market trends, customer journey, and industry landscape to make proactive marketing strategy recommendations.
  • Brand Steward: Maintain and nurture key stakeholder relationships while representing marketing in strategic and operational discussions.
  • Campaign Designer: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (including paid media, SEM, SEO, social, CRM, and web) in collaboration with functional experts.
  • Performance Optimizer: Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on KPIs and ROI metrics.
  • Resource Manager: Manage budgets, timelines, and resources across multiple lines of business and distribution channels.
  • Execution Overseer: Oversee day-to-day planning and execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Partner: Collaborate with strategy, operations, communications, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Creative Collaborator: Work with creative teams and vendors to deliver high-impact marketing assets.
  • Data-Driven Strategist: Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Compliance Guardian: Ensure all marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Team Mentor: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing ongoing training and career development.


What You'll Bring:



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience: 7 years of experience in a marketing role focusing on strategy development and campaign execution. Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Brand and Marketing Proficiency: Track record of implementing core principles of brand marketing.
  • Leadership Acumen: Superior leadership, teamwork, and team development skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to consult to varying levels of marketing professionals, providing clear and concise direction.
  • Analytical Prowess: Outstanding analytical ability and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, PowerBI, Tableau, AI, and Media Mix Modeling.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Accomplished listener responsive to data, insights, and consumer research.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and methodical with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel occasionally, and work in office on hybrid schedule.
