Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, the Financial Analyst will provide financial and strategic support in analyzing financial results and KPIs versus Plan and assist in regular reporting and 'ad hoc' analysis for business leaders.

Essential Functions

  • Support in budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term planning process.

  • Accurate reporting of P&L against forecast including narrative on business performance and variances.

  • Extract and analyze data from the General Ledger for tracking, analysis, and process improvement.

  • Focus on measuring, reporting and driving core KPI's and business activity.

  • Assist with the facilitation of the monthly/quarterly accounting close as needed Drive process improvements through automation of reporting.

  • Develop and maintain business reporting through the use of various business intelligence tools.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of large company initiatives.

Contacts inside and outside the organization

  • All levels of management, senior management and staff within the company

  • Various contacts within parent company and jointly owned affiliates

  • Limited contacts outside of the organization

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong background and work experience in both Finance and Operations

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel

  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power Queries and Power BI is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style

  • Ability to work with staff through all levels of the organization

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Finance or Analyst role

A starting compensation range for this role is $69,920.00 - $92,000.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
