Job Summary
The Corporate Strategy and Transformation Office Specialist supports day-to-day operations within the Department, assisting Department Leaders with administrative tasks, payroll, communications, and event support, as well as provide additional support to the Team with preparing presentation materials, and lower complexity project management as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Assists with administrative activities and functions including, but not limited to calendar scheduling, travel planning, meeting requests, food orders and delivery, printing, scanning documents, room bookings, etc.
- Design, review and build PowerPoint decks, memos, and other deliverables for Strategy and Transformation Office Leaders to effectively communicate key information and support strategic initiatives, while also ensuring materials adhere to Company visual standards.
- Process Timekeeping & correct documents related to exceptions in time & attendance systems to accurately reflect payroll for Non-Contract Employees within the department
- Design, develop, and facilitate engaging meetings and small-scale projects, while assisting with large-scale departmental events and cultural activities.
- Maintain library of templates, toolkits and other knowledge assets for the Strategy and Transformation Office Team
- Provide project management support for Department strategic priorities, including project management support for the Transformation Office
- Collaborate with the department Executive Assistant (EA) to manage and support administrative tasks and other day-to-day operational needs on an as-needed basis
- Perform moderately complex quantitative analysis, guided with specific input from project Team Leadership
- Perform qualitative competitive research and gather information to support strategic projects
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, such as file management, calendar management, designing templates and other office tasks
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite products
- Skilled in creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint for Leaders, Teams, and Department events
- Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Skilled in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of the commercial airline industry-or rapidly acquire such knowledge-to generate strategic insights and conduct competitive research that informs business decisions
- Ability to collect, organize, visualize, and assimilate data, including turning raw data into meaningful information
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate ideas in written, spoken, and digital formats, tailored to the appropriate audience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive Company information
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work efficiently with a sense of urgency
- Ability to adapt to new technology applications and acquire new technical skills
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Entry-level experience, developing skills and knowledge in Administrative Support, Customer Service, or Human Resources
- Preferred: 'Proficient with MS Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), knowledgeable of administrative procedures (e.g. file management, calendar management, designing templates, etc.), skilled in creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to lift and/or pull medium weight loads (approx. 25-50 lbs) on occasion
Other Qualifications
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive market salary from $64,900 to $72,100 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
