DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will play a crucial part in conducting stockpile assessments to ensure that the inventory recorded in the system accurately reflects the actual quantities of materials available. During the winter months, you will carry out bi-weekly inventories of plow blades to verify that an adequate supply is maintained at all times. Collaboration with the Roadway Programs Technician II will be essential in determining the necessary quantities for procurement. Additionally, you will leverage various reports to track and analyze work-related data, including the number of production units completed, total man-hours utilized, equipment usage rates, and material consumption. This comprehensive monitoring will help ensure operational efficiency and resource management. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position will require winter shift work as necessary during the winter months October - April.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
