What to Expect
The Tooling team is responsible for the entire product life cycle of custom service, commissioning and install tools to assist in the rapid deployment and maintenance of Telsa'sEnergy storage and charging solutions. This position will drive the design, release, and lifecycle management of custom mechanical and electrical tools and sustaining engineering projects.
What You'll Do
Own lifecycle and serviceability management for existing service and install tools Own tool technical specifications, project scheduling, ROI analysis, and demand forecasting Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, reliability) to align timelines, prioritize initiatives, and optimize financial outcomes for tools and sustaining design Own electrical and mechanical NPI and Sustaining technical program management from end to end for projects owned by tooling team Support efficiency improvement and globalization initiatives Be a liaison with design, service engineering, manufacturing and field service teams
What You'll Bring
8+years of technical program management experience Experience in managing and driving hardware design projects andin data-driven forecasting for complex systems Strong knowledge of business impact, ROI, NPV method Familiarity with FMEA, Gantt chart Proven track record of turning vague requests to polished specifications with prioritization driven by business impact Familiarity with Jira Automation and knowledge of implementing and using AI tools for program management is a huge plus Background in renewable energy systems

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
