Description

The Regional Pricing Director plays a pivotal role in driving pricing strategy and execution for our regional sales teams. This role will be a key business partner to our local sales team and will work together closely with our IT and sales enablement organization to ensure pricing consistency, accuracy, pricing guidance adoption and alignment with our customer centric vision.

The Regional Pricing Director will create pricing solutions that meet both external customer and Convergint business needs by working cross-functionally with internal sales management while gaining customer insights and business knowledge to effectively drive customer satisfaction.

The Regional Pricing Director is expected to perform the role in a manner that emulates Convergint's core Values and Beliefs.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Price Source Management



  • Manage and maintain accurate, consistent pricing guidance for all customer-product (material/service/install) pairs within the region.
  • Ensure pricing data integrity and governance across systems and customer records.


Commercial Partnership & Profitability Coaching



  • Act as business partners to regional leaders (Sales Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, General Managers).
  • Support sales leadership in coaching and identifying pricing behavior opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Drive adoption of pricing strategies and tools within the commercial organization.


Contractual Price Management



  • Oversee the pricing aspects of local Master Service Agreement (MSA) renewals.
  • Set and track profitability targets for local agreements in coordination with regional leadership.


Pricing Guidance Optimization



  • Refine pricing guidance, recommendations, and pricing models to reflect real-time local market dynamics, competitive conditions, and business rules.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust pricing frameworks to maintain regional competitiveness and margin protection.



Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Knowledge of B2B pricing in services and/or integration


Technical Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills



Qualifications:

Education:



  • 5-10 years of experience in pricing in a senior role
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance of computer science. Master's degree preferred


Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of sales strategy, sales planning operations, management consulting or investment banking preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in pricing, promotion, sales, and customer analytics
  • Prior project management and direct management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to convey pricing theory and strategy into strong business plan


Certifications:



  • CPP preferred but not required
