GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Coordinates with loading crews at both the Architectural and Structural plants upcoming jobs and loads to be built for shipping. Builds load tickets for yard personnel to use for loading precast panels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Orders / Rents Trailers for loading operations at the plant from multiple Rental companies
  • Maintains records and upkeep of owned trailer assets, DOT inspections, registration, and Maintenance
  • Coordinates with Hauling companies for loads to be hauled to site prior to shipping
  • Prints out shipping tickets for drivers from Concrete Vision and enters completed shipping tickets for loads delivered to site into Concrete Vision
  • Coordinates with Erection Company / Erector pieces needed, loads delivered, and times of delivery, wait times, and special deliveries
  • Works with Project Management to get loose hardware or special items to and from site on loads in or out of plant and job site
  • Coordinates with fabrication Shop for deliveries of loose hardware to Job site
  • 24/7 during shipping operations contacts roadside aid for flat repairs on loads being delivered to job sites
  • Tracks and monitors load daily to ensure product is loaded and sent out in time to reach the job site before it's needed
  • Coordinates with Quality Control personnel load information and issues to be cleared in Concrete Vision to be able to print shipping tickets for drivers
  • Coordinates pick up of trailers and supplies at job site for return with Hauler and Erector
  • Coordinates with Plant Manager, Project Managers, and Fabrication Manager Loads to pick up from outside entities and other plants
  • Coordinates Maintenance on Trailers and Semi-Truck with Maintenance personnel
  • Tracks and Monitors the Gate Semi-Truck driver to ensure equipment is kept in good working order
  • Track and Orders delivery between Structural and Architectural plants of parts, hardware, Forms, and precast panels
  • Additional work as directed by supervisor or manager to be completed in a timely and efficient manne


EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED



  • High school education preferred but not required
  • QC knowledge & Concrete Vision knowledge preferred but not required
  • Basic team skills
  • Ability to follow complex instructions
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint and shop tickets preferred
  • Basic planning/organization skills
  • MUST have good communication skills written and verbal


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally
  • Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently
  • Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed by job requirements
  • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently

  • Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific)
