This position is responsible for any of the various tasks listed as assigned. Provides timely review and make necessary corrections of entries submitted to Customs Border and Protection (CBP) prior to summary for all FedEx Trade Networks (FTN) divisions, while ensuring all customer and regulatory requirements are met. Support other workgroups such as entry processing and cage functions when necessary Completes various review activities that fall under the FTN One Brokerage review functions such as: * Thorough understanding of the different requirements in systems and processes for each FTN division such as Air & Ocean, Border, CPA and GENEX High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of business/customer service experience or college degree required. Two (2) years of brokerage experience preferred. The ability to analyze data and information to make sound decisions in a time sensitive atmosphere. Knowledge of CBP and Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations and tariff schedules, general import procedures and systems preferred. Ability to work in a time sensitive environment with a high level of accuracy and productivity. Excellent computer skills with the ability to work in a windows environment. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. CCS preferred. * All other duties as assigned. HS Diploma or GED required. 3 years of business or customer service experience preferred. Required - MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner). Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Organizational Skills. Inter-personal skills. Able to work on a team Preferred Qualifications: The shift for this position is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm. This position is Variable Remote out of our Tonawanda, NY or Romulus, MI office. There will be some work from home opportunity, and may require some in office work. Candidates must live in close proximity to one of these locations. Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay: $15.02-$25.02 per Hour. The typical starting pay for external applicants is $18/hr.
