Job Summary

• Generates purchase orders and maintains inventory of parts and equipment. Manages the maintenance budget to minimizes cost.
• Manages preventative maintenance programs and day to day maintenance tasks.
• Participates and or leads in projects that align with the strategic goals that require partnering with Engineering, Safety Coordinator and Management.
• Supervises maintenance contractors to make sure that deadlines are met and contracts are followed.
• Department Employee Engagement/Morale, Coaching & Developing, Policy & Procedure and Employee Life Cycle activities. Executes proper training and cross training of areas to ensure flexibility to meet current and future repairs and/or minimize costs. Provides coaching and development for direct reports including performance management. Creates and maintains a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 4-year college degree preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience (Maintenance and/or distribution center experience preferred)
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and or shift to meet work requirements
• Must be authorized to work legally in the United States
