Overall Summary

The Customer Operations Specialist will support all functions of the North American Customer Operations team.

Your duties will include:



  1. Responsible for meeting deadlines and maintaining operational workflow requirements
  2. Assist sales fields with Orders
  3. Assist with backorder management process
  4. Assist in maximizing inventory performance by relocating inventory to areas where product will be most utilized in assigned region
  5. Assist Field Operations Managers in the redistribution of kits as required according to business needs
  6. Assist in field audits
  7. Projects related to business enhancements as assigned or required
  8. Assist Surgery Expedite Team
  9. Assist with MOVE Medical initiatives

About You


This position requires very strong knowledge in inventory management as well as MPO processes and procedures. A good knowledge of MPO computer systems is required since past, present and future finished goods activities can be gleaned from these systems. Must know how to communicate needs in a manner that will clearly indicate urgency and priority. The ability to understand computer systems, inventory policies, and product functionally is critical to this position. Orthopedic and or Medical Device inventory experience is highly desirable.

A high degree of judgment and problem solving is required to achieve the maximum customer service level while maintaining the optimum inventory level to support the business objectives. Must be able to quickly evaluate situations and take corrective actions to minimize the effect on customer service and product availability levels. A person in this position must be detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.


  • Extensive MPO product knowledge. Excellent PC and software comprehension skills, excellent communication skills, good knowledge of all MPO departments and related functions.
  • Ability to assist group leader in identifying and documenting new procedures
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to perform back up duties for any responsibility within customer operations. (Logistics, Audits, MOVE Medical)
  • Position requires independent problem solving and sound judgement.
  • All duties must be performed with minimal supervision.



YOUR EDUCATION

Required: Associate degree in Business Administration or Communications

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of experience in Customer Service, Inventory Management, Operations Management, Production Control, Manufacturing and Distribution or equivalent combination of education and experience
