Technical Publication Specialist

A Technical Publication Specialist opportunity is available in Daytona, FL. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. This role focuses on the technical and analytical aspects of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The Engineering & Analysis Specialist will evaluate engineering data, develop logistics records, and ensure systems are supportable across their full lifecycle.

Job Duties:
*Support the development, delivery, and sustainment of S1000D-compliant operating manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical orders.
*Collaborate with maintenance SMEs to ensure technical data meets operational requirements.
*Support logistics elements including spares, support equipment, field services, and operator/maintainer training.
*Assist with provisioning tasks for military and/or civilian platforms.
*Ensure compliance with logistics processes for material disposal, reclamation, and recycling.
*Partner with cross-functional teams to improve logistics products and ensure maintainability.
*Translate engineering data into clear, accurate logistics documentation.

Required Qualifications:
*Experience with technical publications, operating manuals, and technical orders.
*Familiarity with S1000D specifications and technical data development.
*Background in maintenance operations (military aircraft, commercial airlines, or similar platforms).
*Understanding of provisioning processes and sustainment planning.
*Familiarity with logistics concepts such as material reclamation, recycling, and obsolescence management.
*Ability to work with logistics databases and tools (e.g., SlicWave* or similar).

Preferred:
*Prior military service or equivalent civilian aviation/maintenance experience highly valued.
*Hands-on maintenance or logistics engineering background.
*Experience authoring or reviewing S1000D technical data.
*Familiarity with provisioning processes and logistics support analysis tools.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $85,000 to $135,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
