Role Summary:
Individuals in the AI Business Solutions Analyst role serve as a liaison between the business community and the Global Data and Technology Services organization. This role is part of an exciting and innovative team building cutting edge AI platforms and solutions within Cencora, a leading healthcare distribution and services company. The AI Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, developing, documenting, and communicating business requirements, and supporting team activities to achieve business goals. In this role, you will drive generative AI solution requirements documentation, design, user engagements, new product ideation, testing, and general analysis tasks. This role is a senior individual contributor Business Solutions Analyst III who will own end to end AI product and solution development cycles along with the AI Platforms & Solutions team. The BSAIII will create PRDs, write user stories, work with developers to build solutions, work on prompt/context engineering to create AI solutions, write and execute tests, and support UAT, deployment, and production validation of AI solutions. The successful candidate will have an interest in and extensive knowledge of AI language models and experience applying their capabilities in an enterprise environment in creative and innovative ways. The BSAIII will combine classic BA strengths (requirements, process, testing, change management) with handson AI solution savvy (prompt design, evaluation datasets, safety/guardrails, and cost/latency/quality tradeoffs).
PRIMARY DUTIES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES:
    Establishes and maintains liaison relationship with business partners and IT organization in order to provide effective technical solutions.
    • Contributes to the business short-and long-term planning sessions and provides direction to ensure understanding of business goals and direction.
    • Provides input from a business and IT perspective.
    • Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advices on options.
    • Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of AI powered business solutions.
    • Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
    • May provide assistance in business case development (i.e., research, data collection).
    • Review, approve, and execute tests and monitors testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk.
    • May ensure test strategies involve appropriate integration and process components.
    • Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution.
    • Keeps stakeholders informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.
    • Analyzes performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Manages customers' expectations.
    • Coaches and transfers knowledge to less experienced team members.
    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Typically requires 8-10 years of relevant technical / business work experience.
    • Experience/in-depth knowledge of general business operations and systems requirements processes.
    • Enterprise software product management experience preferred, focus on AI is a plus
    • Healthcare/regulated industry experience also a plus but not required
    MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an interest in experimenting and pushing the limits of AI in enterprise settings.
    • Functional understanding of how AI language models work, how software tools make use of APIs, etc.
    Under the supervision of the Director, IT Solutions in AI Platforms & Solutions Team, this role focuses on building relationships with stakeholders across the business, understanding their current use of LLM-enabled tools, and creating new solutions and capabilities to meet their needs.
