Hours & Pay

Shift: 1st Shift, 5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down packaging equipment at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Monitor machines to ensure proper product weights and efficient operation.
• Handle waste safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Load and unload film into packaging machines; reset machines as needed.
• Secure packaged items using glue, ties, staples, or other fasteners.
• Sort, label, grade, and inspect packaged products for quality control.
• Fold cartons, close them, and stack them on pallets for transfer.
• Operate semi-automated packaging equipment and troubleshoot minor malfunctions.
• Use computer and scanning skills to maintain accurate production data.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior machine operation experience is required.
• Ability to learn and operate different types of packaging machinery.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, GMP, food safety, and BRC compliance is a plus.
