Skilled Commercial Glass & Curtainwall Installer - Precision & Safety Driven

We are seeking a Commercial Glass & Curtainwall Installer to join a fast-paced, growing team that specializes in high-quality glass, metal, and architectural panel installations. This is your chance to bring expertise in glass handling, assembly, and finishing to a variety of commercial building projects.

Hours & Pay



  • Pay: $18-$26 per hour, based on experience
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities



  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings to determine installation procedures, materials, and staging requirements.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install glass, mirrors, and metal panels for commercial and interior projects.
  • Secure glass using clips, moldings, gaskets, putty, and silicone compounds.
  • Operate hoists, manipulators, and suction equipment to lift and position heavy glass units safely.
  • Assemble and install metal or wood frameworks for windows, doors, skylights, and glass enclosures.
  • Perform grinding, polishing, and edge finishing on glass as required.
  • Install trim, caulk perimeters, and provide silicone finishing for weatherproofing.
  • Assist with scaffolding, rigging, and general job site setup and cleanup.
  • Handle materials safely, organize inventory, and ensure a clean, secure work environment.
  • Serve as a safety spotter and assist in welding operations as needed.



Requirements



  • Prior experience in glass handling, grinding, and assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong physical stamina: stand, walk, squat, kneel, stoop, lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly, and push/pull up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work extended shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Attention to detail, safety-focused, and reliable team player.
