Planned Parenthood North Central States Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota Health Educator of Indigenous Programs (Community Health Educator II) - Duluth, MN Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.60-$25.40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. We are committed to ensuring fair and competitive pay for all employees Schedule: Part-time, 30 hours per week. Eligible for full benefits! Shift times: Primarily Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Regular evenings and weekends required, 1-2 evenings per week and minimum 1 weekend day per month. Location: Hybrid - work locations include remote, community spaces, and Duluth health center (1001 E Central Entrance # 200, Duluth, MN 55811). Job type: Non-Exempt Travel: Regular weekly travel to community partner sites, primarily within St. Louis & Carlton Counties. Infrequent travel throughout affiliate. Job Summary: With the support of the Indigenous Initiatives Education team at PPNCS, the Health Educator II is responsible to build and sustain community partnerships, coordinate culturally specific community outreach and facilitate It's That Easy Caregiver-child education classes and multi-session reproductive and sexual health programs to diverse learners in Carlton and St. Louis counties in northern Minnesota. The Health Educator II is responsible for additional responsibilities such as administrative tasks, and contributing to evaluation, curriculum and program development as well as collaborating to meet the goals of the Community Education and Engagement Department and supporting the mission of Planned Parenthood North Central States. Health Educators are advocates in implementing our mission of "Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all". They may perform other related duties as assigned.
