About the Role
The HR Advisor will serve as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for associates managing inquires through our HRIS, case management system, email, phone and in person inquires. This role goes beyond administrative tasks, requiring strong HR knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving skills to diagnose issues, resolve concerns or connect assoicates to the right resources. The idea candidate is passionate about HR, adept at navigating complex situations and committed to delivering a high quality experience. In addition, the HR Advisor will collaborate across HR and partner functions, supporting HR Business Partners with HR related needs. This position can be located at our facility in Phoenix or Flagstaff Arizona, or in Newark Delaware, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and requests from associates, providing accurate and timely information
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships founded on trust and professionalism
- Take ownership to resolve associate issues, escalate or partner with other teams or functions where needed to ensure resolution
- Manage and document cases in HR systems such as MyHR, TrackIT and PeopleSoft, ensuring all details of inquiries and work are captured thoroughly
- Support HR Services team goals: contribute to a positive work environment, meet associate needs, and assist colleagues to achieve business objectives
- Communicate HR policies, processes, and guidelines clearly and consistently, align guidance with both company culture and business requirements
- Seek opportunities to streamline and enhance the associate experience, proactively identify and suggest improvements to processes and systems
- Foster connections and build subject matter credibility with leaders and associates across the Enterprise to deliver an exceptional associate experience
- Commit to ongoing professional development in HR, enhancing both functional skills and expertise in areas relevant to the business
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources preferred, or experience in a customer-facing role involving communication, critical thinking and problem solving
- Experience providing customer service, including anticipating customer needs, prioritizing daily tasks while managing high-volume and complex workloads, and handling confidential information appropriately
- High level of computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems and digital tools as required
- Influencing skills, with the ability to engage in constructive discussion and support
- Independent judgment and critical thinking skills for assessing and resolving customer needs
- Proficient written, oral, and listening communication skills, demonstrating professionalism
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing environments
- Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferably in Human Resources Mgmt, Business Administration or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification
- Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, PeopleSoft and CRM Systems
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed.
