Accounts Payable

The main objective of this position is to coordinate payable, billing, and management of all accounts Payable activities. Some of the key responsibilities for the position are:

• Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
• Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
• Research all payment discrepancies and interact with all departments to resolve problems.
• Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
• Issue stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
• Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances, preparing checks.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.
