Your Impact

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will leads 8 account executives, covering approximately 80 customers across Illinois in supporting our customers' missions with Cisco's full suite of solutions. We are seeking an experienced sales professional with an extensive background in complex deal structuring, executive relationship-building, and strategic account planning. You will be responsible for developing and executing long-term growth plans, aligning Cisco's capabilities to customer priorities, and driving opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a team dedicated to achieving outstanding sales performance across large, strategic accounts. Your focus will be on supporting our customers, strengthening relationships, expanding Cisco's market presence, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies. This position offers the excitement of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and drive sustained business growth.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Account Executives to achieve sales targets and support customer missions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed organizational goals
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the sales process, including strategic account planning, resource engagement, and sales cycle management
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, understanding and advocating for their priorities to drive business value
  • Ensure accuracy in weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales, with a strong record of consistently exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year business strategies and account plans
  • Experience handling complex, accounts and engaging directly with senior decision-makers and C-level executives
  • Proven ability to run program demand generation events and partner motions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to commercial, public sector or large enterprise customers and field sales
  • Understanding of Cisco's solutions and competitive advantages
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional teams and with stakeholders in both pre- and post-sales environments
