Maintenance Technician II

Location: Eden Heights- New Braunfels, Texas
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the safety, comfort, and upkeep of our senior housing community. This role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.

• Maintain facility appearance through general repairs, painting, and cleaning.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.

• Supervise and train junior maintenance staff.

• Manage maintenance supplies, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred).

• 2+ years maintenance experience (senior housing experience a plus).

• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, OSHA) highly desirable.

• Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment
Indoor/outdoor setting in a senior housing facility. Must be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and be on-call for emergencies.
