Creighton University's College of Professional and Continuing Education is looking to hire a full time Program Planner. This position will develop and implement program activities and will work with planning committee members, course directors, faculty, and facility planners in all aspects of program planning for credit and non-credit courses. Will work closely with other team members on the preparation of planning meetings, coordination and management of speakers and attendees at conferences, creation of marketing materials. This position will also work on the submission of various accreditation applications, and the development of post program reports and other duties as assigned.

  • Work with event partners to confirm conference space and various details such as audio visuals and meals.
  • Organize, schedule, and plan various course committee meetings in planning of Continuing Education events. Assist the committee with accreditation and application process.
  • Attend various conferences for attendee check in, walk up registrations, and various other duties to ensure a successful event.
  • Collect conference materials from planning committees and develop brochures and marketing materials for various conferences.
  • Market events to potential attendees in collaboration with other CPCE team members; create the content in the applicable systems and sites, including accreditation requirements. Handle all attendee logistics before and after conferences through email communication.
  • Submit various accreditation applications and end of year reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 + years of experience with customer service or client management. Experience in planning and marketing events is helpful.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
