Summary:

The TCO Logistics Automation Specialist is responsible for translating business requirements into new features in the Maersk Warehouse and Distribution automated systems. You will ensure the operating procedures are aligned with any changes with an aim to ensure we meet customer and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns warehouse control systems and business processes
  • Drives creation, standardization, and centralization of business and system processes
  • Ensure the operational platform remains up to date based on required improvements
  • Assess business and customer needs to determine system requirements
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and IT to configure systems to meet business needs and requirements
  • Prioritize, plan, test, and implement new system releases and developments
  • Support the business during go-live events for new business and/or systems
  • Provide system training and user support to all facilities in North America
  • Ensure processes are properly documented, stored, and shared with the business unit through the creation of SOPs/IOPs
  • Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes
  • Other duties as needed to support the business
  • Position is full-time and may be either on-site or remote.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required
  • Warehouse Distribution industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities
  • Minimum of 3 years Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) experience required. Lafayette superuser preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years Warehouse Management systems (WMS) experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year Yard Management systems experience (YMS) preferred,
  • Experience with JIRA is a plus
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, such as agile, a plus
  • Strong conceptual abilities- able to translate complex issues into ideas and actions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
  • Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%

Pay Range:

$85,000-$95,000*

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
