Join Gorman & Company at Harmony at the Park, a vibrant 3-phase, 313-unit community where we take pride in creating safe, welcoming, and well-maintained homes. We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II who's ready to make an impact every day - from keeping residents comfortable to ensuring our community shines inside and out.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues
- Get apartments "move-in ready" for new residents
- Conduct property inspections to keep our community safe and efficient
- Maintain curb-appeal with daily walks and seasonal upkeep
- Care for common areas, pool, and grounds
- Work with contractors and vendors when needed
- Be part of our on-call rotation to respond quickly to emergencies
- Follow all OSHA and safety standards to keep everyone protected
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of maintenance/property management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) (or willing to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver's license & insurable record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call needs
