Medical Assistant - Cardiology

Medical Assistant performs general office duties including but not limited to scheduling, obtaining guarantor information; answer telephones, inputs patient charges. Medical Assistant prepares patient folders and files medical records.

High school graduate or GED -

Medical Assistant qualifications:

Formal training as a medical assistant required or three years experience as a medical assistant.

Previous physician office experience required. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant or obtain certification within 6 months. Experience with authorizations and EMR's preferred.
