DISC Support Coordinator | Casual | Evening Shift

TheChristianaCare ImagingDepartment is currently recruiting for a Casual/Part-Time DISC Support Coordinator to work the Evening shift.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Answer and route calls in a high imaging department and/or office.

* Obtains and uploads outside imaging studies for comparison for radiologist.

* Burn CDs, prints patients' medical imaging records.

* Connect and resolve outside images sent to the PACS system for providers.

* Operates computer systems and office equipment in a safe manner.

* Interacts with patient, family members, physicians, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.

* Complies with Joint Commission regulations that are in place for critical results communication and/or other regulated results documentation.

* 24/7 coverage required in an acute hospital setting which includes weekday, and weekend coverage; a backup list requirement is initiated for the emergent staffing needs within the department.

*Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Two years related medical office experience.

Work Schedule:

• Flexible 8hr Evening Shift
• Every other weekend
• Holidays as required
